Loft Fernanda Lessa

Location: Milan

Size: 160 sqm

In proximity of Corso Sempione, inside an architectural mesh of houses, shops and offices, a small green spot appears where a garden terrace enhances the beauty of Loft Fernanda. The feeling of being inside a loft is enhanced by the minimalistic furniture and the refined design pieces. The bright living-room, in neutral colors – equipped with home cinema and plasma TV, electrical system, air conditioning and heating system – is the heart element and filter for the sleeping area. We can find some researched design products like the bookshelf of Cappellini, the table of Venini, the “Arco” lamp of Castiglioni, the “Eta” lamp of Kundalini, and the “Specchio Sovrapposto” of Davide Medri. The structure of the house is that of a “metropolitan” apartment that reflects both the character and the soul of the client, a famous showgirl, and part of fashion in search of a moment to relax in between travels. The terrace garden in large teak slats, surrounded by bamboo plants, has the power to make the client feel like he/she is in another part of the world, far from the Milanese chaos. The lighting of the environment blends harmoniously with the external part of the house through the transparent porch, and it’s even increased by the white walls, and the floor made of goggioni oak slats antiqued. In the sleeping area, the bathroom and the bedroom interact with a sandblasted glass wall that, in a play of transparencies, delimits a custom-made trapezoid-shaped bathtub made of goggioni slabs of travertine.
Other projects
